The following websites result from different attempts to organize the varied content of the World Wide Web. Some of these strive to make it easier to find a set of web pages with related information by creating a directory or listing of links for the user to browse graphically. Some are search engines that limit search results to a specialized category. For example, Google Scholar specializes in scholarly works.
