INFO-HOUND
Krannert Memorial
Library, U of I -- Information Literacy Tutorial
INTRODUCTION
|
INFO-HOUND is an Web site based
tutorial designed to introduce University of Indianapolis students to
basic research sources and skills. The tutorial is divided into three
sections which you can complete in any order. Each one should take you
approximately 30 minutes
and concludes with a quiz. You may study sections at different
times or do all three at one sitting -- at the conclusion of each one,
students can print out a certificate of completion. NOTE:
Throughout the tutorial, we will use the abbreviation KML to
stand for Krannert Memorial Library located on the campus of the
University of Indianapolis. Whether
this tutorial introduces new information or includes some things you
already know, its fundamental concepts will be useful for any type
of research you may do and will contribute to your success as a
student. Read every page carefully and be sure you understand its
content before moving on. If you have any questions that are not
answered in the tutorial or comments after completing it, please come
to KML and ask to speak to a Reference Librarian or the Library
Director -- we're here for you! |
